To give a true picture of your daily food intake, it’s important to be as accurate as possible when entering portion sizes. Many foods have standard portion sizes, such as pots of yogurt or cereal bars, and these values will be completed automatically in your Tracker. Other foods have usual sizes – apples, for example, are normally around 110g and these figures will also be completed automatically. Foods which don’t come in standard sizes will be shown with 25g or 100g values and you can edit this weight depending on your own portion.
To begin with, you might wish to weigh everything you eat. This will help you compare your current servings to recommended portion sizes and it will also help you become familiar with your usual serving sizes so you can judge portions more accurately. Soon, you can gauge portions and you won’t need to continue weighing your food.
